ANDREW BAGGOTT
Andrew Baggott is Clarke Nicklin’s Managing Partner. He acquired the practice with fellow Senior Partner Steve Humphries in 2004.
Andrew started his career and qualified as a chartered accountant at Coopers and Lybrand (now part of PriceWaterhouseCoopers), spending four years at the firm. After a spell at Joseph Crossley & Sons he moved to Ford Campbell where he specialised in corporate finance and strategic planning, spending nine years in this role and progressing to partner.
It was at Ford Campbell that Andrew met Steve Humphries and together the pair developed an acquisition strategy, and researched the market for a local practice which they could grow and develop.
Since acquiring Clarke Nicklin, using his vast experience in a range of practices, Andrew has helped significantly expand the size and service offerings of Clarke Nicklin, pioneering new wealth creating initiatives for clients across the UK. His efforts were acknowledged at the 2008 ‘2020 Innovation Awards’ where he was named Business Consultant of the Year, beating fellow professionals from 1300 members across the UK.
Andrew is from Strines where he resides with his wife and three children. In his spare time he still manages to turn out for 5 aside football games, and manages a local under 8’s football team, with the occasional game of tennis with the kids.
