Marple athletic under 9s score with Clarke Nicklin

Clarke Nicklin Group has signed a deal to sponsor local football team Marple Athletic Junior Football Club Under 9's.

The deal will see Clarke Nicklin take pride of place as Marple Athletic Under 9's shirt sponsor. The team, who are just starting a new season in the East Manchester Junior Football League Division 1, the premier small sided junior football league in the region, has close ties with Clarke Nicklin given its manager is one of the firm's managing partners Andrew Baggott. Andrew's son also plays for the team!

Andrew said: "The boys make up a great team and I'm proud to be contributing even further than the time commitment by formally bringing Clarke Nicklin on board. I enjoy developing and improving Clarke Nicklin in my professional life, so it's nice to tie two key areas of my life together in doing the same for a young local team."

It's the latest in a series of community initiatives from Clarke Nicklin. Earlier this year Brian Bradley, partner at the firm, became a governor at Stockport College, becoming integral to their financial governance procedures. Other commitments to the local community include the firm's ongoing sponsorship of SK & Away, a monthly networking event which raises money for the Forever Manchester charity.
